Bookkeeping
The ongoing recording and organising of financial transactions — the foundation all accounting is built on.
Bookkeeping is the day-to-day work of recording transactions: raising invoices, capturing expenses, filing receipts, and reconciling bank accounts.
Accounting interprets; bookkeeping records. Done little and often — fifteen minutes a week beats a quarterly archaeology dig — it makes every report, tax lodgement, and business decision easier.
